Organisers come to Add to Event to find event suppliers in their area and will send a request to multiple potential suppliers.

For example, an organiser might be looking for a hog roast supplier for a wedding in Hampshire. They’ll send out a request to the suppliers that fit their need - ‘Hog Roast’, ‘Wedding Caterer’ - in the Hampshire region. We’ll pass their request on to the each of the suppliers who can provide that service, and those suppliers can choose whether to respond.

A direct request is sent to specific suppliers chosen by the organiser. It means they’re interested in what you’re offering and wants to speak specifically with you. It’s always a good idea to respond to direct requests as the organiser is already curious about your business profile.
