What are packages? How do I create one & what should it include?

Packages are a key part of your public profile. Here is what they are, why they're important and how to create one!

What are packages?

Profile packages help you to show off your unique range of services directly on your profile page; making it easy for customers to book you, knowing your pricing before they submit a request or an Invite.

You can add up to as many packages to your profile as you like, though we recommend between 2-5 to show off enough examples of what you do without being overwhelming.

What should I include in my packages?

Packages are all about demonstrating what you can do & your price point. They can relate to specific services or, if you offer multiple services, you may wish to group these together into a package deal.

For each package, you can add the following info:

✅ A package title

✅ A short description of the package - up to 120 characters

✅ Price range (e.g. £300-£500)

✅ Suitable guest count range (e.g. 10-50 guests)

✅ Suitable event types

✅ Key features you want customers to know - add up to 5 features (80 characters each)

✅ Up to 6 photos per package - meaning its a great way to incorporate even more photos & examples into your profile

👋 Please note: we do not allow any contact details, phone numbers, email address, social media or website links to be included in packages or anywhere else on your public profile. These will be removed if added.

Packages are really flexible so they can be adapted to suit you - no matter what service (or combination of services) you offer.

For example, if you’re a photo booth, you may have 3 packages that look something like:

  • Package 1: 2 hours, props & USB with photos

  • Package 2: 3 hours, props, choice of 2 backgrounds, USB with photos & choice of 15 printed/edited photos

  • Package 3: 3 hours, props, choice of 5 backgrounds, USB with photos & choice of 30 printed/edited photos

Or, if you offer marquees & catering, you may have 3 packages that look something like:

  • Package 1: Marquee hire for 6 hours including set up & take down

  • Package 2: Buffet catering for up to 300 guests, including vegan & vegetarian options, cutlery and paper plates

  • Package 3: Buffet catering for up to 300 guests & marquee hire for 6 hours. Incorporates everything from packages 1 & 2 plus silver serving ware

How to set up packages

To create a package, simply follow these instructions:

  1. Open the main menu and expand the “Your Business” dropdown

  2. Select “public profile”

  3. At the top, click on the tab called “Packages”

  4. Select “Add package”

  5. Enter the required information, upload photos, and press “save”

  6. Back in the grid-view, select “Publish” to set this package live on your profile (this is a private view for you only)

  7. To see how your packages look to customers, navigate to your public profile and scroll down - they will appear below your description.

It really is as simple as that!
