The Content Hub: Manage Your Profile & Showcase Your Business

Update your photos, public profile information, packages and service descriptions to ensure you're always putting your best foot forward.

Updated this week

Your Content Hub is where you manage everything customers see about your business on Add to Event.

It’s designed to help you enrich your profile so you can:

  • Showcase what you offer

  • Tell your story

  • Build trust with customers

  • Increase your chances of receiving Invites and bookings

Customers view your profile both before sending an Invite and after receiving your quote, so keeping this information up to date plays a key role in how often you’re chosen.

Accessing the Content Hub

You’ll find your Content Hub in the main menu when you’re logged in.

From here, you can manage:

  • Your public profile information

  • Your service-specific content

  • Your packages

  • Your photos and business details

The Content Hub brings everything together in one place, making it easy to update and optimise your profile over time.

How the Content Hub is structured

The Content Hub is organised into three key sections, to help you build your profile

Section One: Business Info

Business info is where you go to build out your public profile and contact details. It is broken down into four tabs:

1. Essential Information

This section contains the core details required for your profile to be visible on Add to Event, including:

  • Your subtitle

  • Your main profile description

  • Your images

These elements form the foundation of your profile and are often the first things customers see.

2. Additional Information

This section allows you to bring your business to life and show customers what makes you unique.

You can include:

  • Typical clients or events you work on

  • A promo video (YouTube or Vimeo)

  • The story behind your business

  • Team details and a team photo

  • Experience, achievements and awards

  • Credentials such as memberships, certifications or hygiene ratings

Profiles with richer information tend to build trust more quickly and convert better.

3. Contact Details & Socials

This section allows you to verify your profile and stay connected with customers by adding:

  • Phone number

  • Website

  • Social media links

These details help customers explore your business further and build confidence. They will be shared with the customer after you have sent your first quote & can be included in your quotes too.

4. Business Details

This section contains the official details of your business, including:

  • Company setup

  • VAT registration

  • Insurance provider information

This information helps reinforce legitimacy and professionalism.

Section Two: Services Info

Each service you offer has its own dedicated space in the Content Hub, where you can add:

  • A short service description

  • A custom photo

This information is shown when customers browse Add to Event by service, so it plays an important role in how many customers click through into your profile.

Adding tailored content for each service helps you:

  • Improve how you show up in service listings

  • Show the right examples for each service you offer

  • Increase profile views, which can lead to more Invites

Keeping your services information up to date ensures that no matter what a customer is searching for, you’re always putting your best foot forward.

Section Three: Packages

Packages allow you to showcase example services and price ranges directly on your profile, helping customers understand what you offer before they get in touch.

Adding Packages can help you:

  • Set clear expectations around pricing and services

  • Attract better-fit enquiries

  • Speed up quoting by giving customers a clearer starting point

Most suppliers add 2–5 packages to show a range of what they offer without overwhelming customers.

What to include to enrich your profile

Here's an example of how your public profile could look when you complete all the fields in the Content Hub:

To support you with perfecting your profile, here's some tips and examples of what to include in every section:

Typical clients

Describe the types of clients or events you usually work with to help customers quickly see if you’re a good fit.

Example: We cater to private events such as weddings, birthdays and corporate parties, as well as public festivals and markets across Greater Manchester and the North West.

Video link (YouTube or Vimeo)

If you have a promo video, this is a great way to show your setup, your team and your work in action.

Videos must:

  • Be landscape

  • Under 90 seconds

  • Hosted on YouTube or Vimeo

  • Contain no copyrighted content

Your story

Use this space to explain why you do what you do. Sharing your background or inspiration helps your profile feel more personal and relatable.

Example: Example Catering began with a simple idea - to bring the authentic flavours of Greece to Manchester’s streets. After travelling through the Greek islands and falling in love with the local cuisine, our founder wanted to recreate that same experience back home: fresh ingredients, cooked with care, served with warmth.

Team details & team photo

Introducing the people behind your business helps customers build a connection and trust you with their event.

Example: We’re a small but passionate team. John, our head chef, brings years of experience in Mediterranean cooking and an eye for authentic flavours. Jenny, our events coordinator, ensures every booking runs smoothly on the day & your custom requests are catered for.

Plus our friendly serving crew share the same love of Greek hospitality and make every customer feel like part of the family.

Experience & awards

Showcase your experience and achievements to build credibility. Add things like how many years you've been in business, key milestones & achievements, or awards you've received.

Example: Since firing up our grill for the first time in 2020, we’ve catered everything from intimate garden parties to large corporate events and city food festivals. We’ve worked with venues and private customers across Greater Manchester and beyond -building a reputation for reliability, flavour, and friendly service.

And, we’re proud to say we won “Best food van of the year for Manchester” in example awards 2024!

Credentials (e.g. memberships, professional bodies, hygiene ratings)

This field is your space to add details of memberships you have, professional bodies you're part of or certifications you hold to show customers you're qualified and reliable.

Example:

  • All staff are Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certified

  • 5-star Food Hygiene Rating

  • We operate under full public liability insurance

  • NCASS member

Why this matters

All fields in the Content Hub are optional, but a more complete profile helps you:

  • Stand out when customers browse suppliers

  • Receive more relevant Invites

  • Build trust before and after quoting

  • Increase your chances of being booked

The more clearly you can show who you are, what you offer and what it’s like to work with you, the more confident customers will feel choosing you.

You can update your Content Hub at any time as your business grows.
