How many quotes will a customer receive on their request?

The number of quotes a customer receives will depend on the number of suitable suppliers within their location and available on their event date. 

If it is important to you that you are one of the first to quote, you can see how many other suppliers have quoted before you send yours.


To find out how many other suppliers have quoted before you, simply:

  1. Head to your Requests inbox

  2. Click into the request you're interested in

  3. Scroll through the event details panel. Beneath the map, event title, customer name, and phone number, you will see an indication of the number of credits to quote and the number of Active Quotes. An Active Quote is a supplier who has quoted on this request.

  4. If there is nothing here, this will mean you are the first to quote. Otherwise there will be a number such as 2 Active Quotes in this space

You can also see if you are first to quote on the request straight from your inbox.


In the request preview, you will see a blue tag which says "Be the first!". This means no one else has quoted on this request yet!

Can I see what other suppliers have quoted?

When you send a quote, you’ll be able to see the number of other quotes that have been sent, but to respect the privacy of both our suppliers and customers, you will only be able to see your own communication with each customer.
