If you've browsed your requests and seen an event you're interested in or you've been notified of one via email, the next thing to do is send a quote.
This is your introduction to the customer and your chance to show off your USPs, pricing, and what you can do to a new customer for your chance to win the job!
How to write a quote
New requests will appear in your Inbox. To see them, log into your business profile and click ‘Requests’.
Here, you can browse a summary of the event details for free including the event type, guest count, date, distance, and number of credits to quote. You can also see how many days are left to quote & when the event was posted
If you're interested in one, click into the request to preview more information for free
Desktop
On desktop, the event details will be in a panel on the right hand side with the option to start drafting your quote right in front of you.
Start by either selecting a template or adding a cost (per hour, per head or for the total event), then type out your message and hit send.
Mobile
On mobile, use the tabs at the top to switch between Event details and your quote.
When you're in the Your quote tab, you can start drafting your quote or select a template you would like to send.
Alternatively, click Send a quote to [customer name] to be taken to the page where you can start drafting your quote
We will also send you immediate email notifications about new requests for your service in your area. If you receive an email with a request you’re interested in, simply click on the link in the email to view and respond.
Does it cost to write a quote?
Previewing event details and drafting your quote is completely free. You will only pay when you hit the final "send quote" button after drafting your quote, adding your cost and attachments.
At this point, a few credits will be deducted from your credit balance.
Remember: in order to send a quote, you need to make sure your profile is published and you have enough credits in your balance.
