How do I edit a quote?

You can edit quotes after sending them if you need to add more information

Updated this week

To edit your quote, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Head to the Quotes area in the main menu

  2. Click into the quote you would like to edit

  3. On the top right-hand side of the message you'll see the option to "Edit Quote".

  4. Once selected this will bring you to a page whereby you can edit the text and your estimated cost for the job.

  5. Once you're happy with your edits, press Update Quote

The customer will not be notified if you edit the quote.

So, if your quote has already been viewed by the customer and you have made updates based on a conversation you have had with them, we recommend sending a message to them in the chat to let them know you have updated their quote.

This will send them an email, so they can come back and view the edits you have made.

Shareable Quotes update automatically

Every quote you send generates a branded, shareable quote page for the customer. It's worth knowing that this page is "live", meaning:

  • If you edit the quote itself, the shareable page will update automatically. The customer will see the most recent version the next time they click the link.

  • If you update your branding, FAQs or profile information in the Content Hub, these changes will automatically appear on every shareable quote page you've ever sent - with no need to resend anything.

This means keeping your Content Hub up to date is a great way to ensure every proposal you've ever sent always looks its best.
