How can I reduce the number of emails I get?

Altering your notification settings to stop request and quote emails

By default, we send you an email for every event request that we think you would like.

Are you getting requests which are not suitable?

If you are getting requests for services you don't provide or from further away than you would like, you can change your request settings by clicking on the "View Request Preferences" link in your requests inbox:

If you still find you are getting too many event request emails, you can update your notification settings.

You may wish to change your settings so that you receive an email once per day with a summary of the requests you have received that day.

Or, you may choose to unsubscribe from email notifications completely.

To make updates to your notifications, click on the notifications link in the menu in your account:

You should be taken to the notifications page where you can update your preferences or unsubscribe:

Here you can:

  • Stop individual request emails

  • Turn on the daily summary email

  • Stop receiving nearby requests

  • Stop quote notifications

  • Stop quote read receipts

  • Opt out of marketing emails

It is not currently possible to stop:

  • Invite notifications and follow ups
