We collect as much information as possible about every request submitted through Add to Event and manually check each one before sending them out to suppliers. Fake requests are therefore extremely rare - but we always advise suppliers to do their own due diligence, as they would if the customer had approached them organically.
Speak with customers over the phone or in person, use your usual deposit or contract systems, and verify details of the event, customer, or organisation before proceeding to any transactions.
